This project required transforming a New Yorker essay into a single article publication.

The essay covers two photographers who shot photos across the American West, capturing the changes in the landscape as it became increasingly more developed. I wanted to give the photographs space to breathe and keep the color palette limited. Sky blue bars appear on the West side of photos and paragraphs, representing the search for true West.
